How to Make Cheeseburger Sliders
Prep your baking dish with some parchment paper to make it easier to remove the meat once baked. Then, preheat your oven to 350°F.
Combine the meat and your seasonings together in a bowl until combined and seasoned throughout. I used meat tenderizer, seasoned salt, pepper, regular table salt, garlic powder and onion powder. You can use any favorite hamburger seasoning blend.
Press the ground meat into the bottom of your baking dish into an even layer.
Bake the beef for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven. Top with cheese and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
Cook until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked through to 160°F internally.
Let the meat rest for 5 minutes while you slice the rolls in half to create a bun. Then cut the meat into 9 equal portions (squares).
Top the sandwiches with a slice of the meat and any of your favorite burger toppings like tomato, lettuce, onion, mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard.

These are very similar to White Castle Burgers but better because you are making them at home and you can easily customize them. You can also make them whenever you want a copycat White Castle Burger.
The biggest difference is the addition of minced onions you will find on White Castle burgers. If you want the real flavor, add some diced onions while it bakes, or sprinkle with minced onions before baking.
Typically people use American cheese when making cheeseburgers. That is the type of cheese that White Castle uses. Some people like to use cheddar cheese on their cheeseburger sliders or use swiss cheese. Provolone and pepper jack cheese are also good choices.
Yes, you can. A lot of people like their burgers cooked medium or rare. If you are not a fan of well done burgers, then just cook the beef for a shorter amount of time. You can also put the burgers back in the oven after they are done cooking to get them a little bit more cooked if you want.
Yes, you can make these ahead of time and freeze them. Just cook the burgers and then let them cool. Place them in a freezer-safe container or bag and freeze for up to 2 months.
You can freeze the sliders alone, with cheese and even with the bun. When you freeze the cheeseburgers sliders with the burgers, you will be reheating the sliders with the bun. This can cause issues when you are reheating if you are not careful. You don't want the buns to get hard.
When you are ready to eat them, just thaw them out and reheat in the oven. You can also reheat the cheeseburger sliders in the microwave
