You have given cooks tips not to use to much flour.
Your recipe doesn’t state any flour, and where to use it.
Katie Hale
You do not have to use flour in this recipe, but some may want to use it to thicken the sauce.
Angie
Is the recipe calling for regular mustard or dry mustard? And if we don’t have the two pastes (garlic and ginger), can we substitute with minced or powder garlic & ginger in the same qty?
Katie Hale
It uses regular prepared yellow mustard. You can substitute with minced fresh garlic and fresh ginger or powder if you prefer. I recommend starting with 1/8 teaspoon powder per garlic clove you would be using.
