How to Make a S'Mores Cereal Bar
Begin by melting the marshmallows with butter. This can be done in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, or in a large bowl in the microwave. If using the microwave, I recommend doing so on low heat for 1 minute, then for 30-second increments until just melted.
Now, add in the chocolate chips and the Golden Grahams cereal.
Stir until combined.
Next, grease an 8"x8" baking dish with non-stick spray, or line it with parchment paper.
Pour the marshmallow and cereal mixture into the dish, pressing down firmly to compact it. This process is similar to making a rice cereal treat.
Once you have it in a firm even layer, cover it with plastic wrap or a lid, and let it sit to setup for at least 1 hour.
