How to Make Crack Dip
Begin by cooking the bacon until crisp, then set out to drain on paper towels. Once drained and cooled, crumble the bacon.
Now, preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Spray the baking dish you choose with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper for easier cleanup. I used a 10" oval dish, but you can use anything larger than an 8" baking dish.
In a bowl, or directly in the bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, the crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and the sour cream until it is well incorporated.
Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Top with additional shredded cheese if you desire.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil then bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and beginning to brown on top.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with your favorite chips or crackers.
