Spiralizers are by far one of the most underappreciated kitchen utensils. These mesmeric spiral cutters seem to get people excited at first, but within a month, they’re gathering dust at the back of a cupboard.
Well, my friend, it’s time to liberate that awesome machine from its dark resting place and use it to make some culinary art the likes of which you’ve never seen before.

Using yams as the core of this delicious breakfast treat, shallots, garlic, and Parisian seasonings are used to twist sweet and savory into one mouthwatering meal.
Obviously, you can go without the bacon for a wholesome vegan breakfast, but those crispy little shreds really make this meal pop, and prepare you for the day ahead. I’d eat this for breakfast seven days a week if I could!

Cheese and broccoli have long been one of my favorite pairs of foodie friends.

The Pancake Princess’ Zucchini Breakfast Pizza
Pizza for breakfast? FINALLY!!! I’d been waiting for an excuse to bring pizza into the AM for years when I happened across this epic recipe.
It follows the same basic principles as an omelet, but it’s so, so much more! All the spiralized veggies form a crispy crust that you can cut into like an honest-to-goodness pizza — I even use my pizza wheel to portion it out.
Inspiralized’s Almond Butter & Jelly Oatmeal Bowl with Spiralized Apples and Toasted Almonds
This is a truly health-tastic breakfast idea from Inspiralized that really sets you off on the right foot in the morning.
Loaded with spiralized apples and grape jelly, it shakes your taste buds awake and draws an inevitable “mmmmm” from your lips. You’ll need a decent food processor to make the almond butter, though.
An Awesome Swiss Chard and Golden Beet Frittata from Healthy Nibbles and Bits
This beautifully light breakfast bite relies on spiralizing the beets into cute little noodles.
They’re then combined with eggs, Swiss chard, yellow onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese, then topped with fresh thyme for a truly knockout flavor.
Now We’re Heading Over to Food Faith Fitness for This Tasty Breakfast Burrito Bowl with Sweet Potato Noodles
This recipe is as simple as they come (so long as you can poach an egg). It’s essentially just fried, seasoned yam noodles, with an egg on top, some avocado slices too if that’s what floats your breakfast boat.

A Slow-Cooked Bolognese Sauce with Sweet Potato Spaghetti From the Visionaries Over at A Calculated Whisk
I love pasta as much as the next person, and, granted, the carbs make for a fantastic post-workout meal, but if you’re trying to cut carbs, you need to hear about this recipe.
It’s a simple enough concept...make a bolognese, then replace the spaghetti with spiralized sweet potato. But it was a lightbulb moment for me, as I’d never thought about substituting pasta with spiralized goods.
Once you realize the potential, you can use whatever veg you’re in the mood for. My current favorite is zucchini.
Delicious Thai Chicken Zucchini Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce From Joyful Healthy Eats
