- 1 boneless skinless chicken breast
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup crushed cornflakes cereal
- 1 large egg

Pat dry a boneless skinless chicken breast then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
In three small bowls, put the beaten egg in one, flour in one, and crushed cereal in the third.
Dredge the chicken breast in flour first.
Then dip into beaten egg.
And finally, coat in the crushed cereal.
In a medium skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
Once hot, place the chicken into the oil and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown on the outside and the chicken is cooked through and has reached 165°F internally.
